Thursday Night TV
Lots to try to watch tonight. Fortunately, I've been able to see most of the NBC premieres, the US Open, and the NFL opener.Joey was suprisingly OK. I'd even say it was good. I wasn't expecting much from it, so I was pleasantly surprised. The new characters seem to work well with the exception of the love interest, but we'll see where they go with it.
The Apprentice was good. It's not as good as it was at the end of last season, but it would be almost impossible to match that. Things are just getting underway. The candidates mostly seem like dim shadows of the first season, but I guess they need time to develop. The first season is usually the best because no one knows what they are getting into. All these people watched last season, and that colors the way they behave. Obviously. Anyway, Rob deserved to be fired. He sucked. Chris wasn't much better. And what was with that chick with the wild hair? The one that freaked out, I forget her name. She's gotta go.
