Bye Bitch

Couch is gone.

Good for Sherman.

The only odd thing about this story is the way the local dorkscasters have handled it. Jason Wilde (who appears to be the newest "insider" in Packerland) called the move "suprising", which cost him a lot of credibility with me.

Tom Pippins, demonstrating yet again that he knows nothing, called the move "wrong".

In general, Sherman's final roster cut-down was panned as perplexing. I agree that keeping two punters is moronic, but I don't expect that situation to last throughout the year. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if Sherman cut Barker before the season offically starts on Sunday (yes, I know it starts on Thursday, but for salary purposes, the day is Sunday).

I was suprised that they cut Holmes so quickly. I wonder what they expected to see in him if they were only going to give him 10 days to make the team.

I was a little suprised they cut Kevin Kight, but they did add him to the practice squad. I was even more suprised they didn't give him a better shot at returning punts. They should not be using Ferguson in that capacity.
