So, What Does This Mean?
Well, I'm not sure it means anything. And by that I mean that the Packers look to be the same "good but flawed" team they were last year. It's a division loss, so that hurts, but they had an unforgivable division loss to the lowly Lions last year and survived.
The Packers tend to play better towards the end of the year each year, these upsets generally take place in the first half of the season. And this is no different, which is partially what makes it so maddening.
They'll lose next week to high-powered Indy and be 1-2, just like last year. After that they'll get the struggling Giants and "good but declining" Titans at home. After that, Lions (away), Cowboys, Redskins (away), and open date, and then the Vikqueens.
So, it doesn't look so bad in the long run. I mean, it could get bad, but more than likely we'll be right where we were last year. A good record, some dissappointing losses, and a tight race for a playoff spot.
